beef Event
Every three years the beef.ch event takes place on the “Pfannenstiel” above Meilen/ZH. Regional beef events are staged in the years in between. The events are supposed to promote communication between farmers and consumers, to strengthen the image of suckler cow husbandry and to present that type of livestock keeping to the general public. Consumers should be made aware of the high quality aspects of Switzerland’s meat industry.
“beef” also intends to provide experiences and information as to animal-friendly husbandry, meat production and meat consumption. beef.ch is a project of Suckler Cow Switzerland.
